With a high protein and fibre content, a pleasant taste and a neutral colour, pea flour can be added to recipes to help boost the nutritional profile of foods with minimal impact on taste and colour. It can either be used as a partial replacement of wheat flour, or can be used with other gluten free ingredients in gluten free products.
