Bakels Instant Active Dried Yeast produces excellent results for the home baker, and professional bakers alike. This yeast is instant, so no pre-soaking or pre-fermenting is required, but can be added straight to the flour. 

It is recommended that the Bakels yeast is stirred through with the flour for a couple of seconds, before added the luke-warm water. The luke-warm water (about body temperature) and a dough temperature of around 30 degrees Celsius is essential to produce carbon dioxide and rise the dough.

One teaspoon is approximately 3 grams. We suggest that you use about 15 grams of our Instant Yeast per 1 kg of flour (so 5 teaspoons) or 7.5 grams (2.5 teaspoons) per 500g flour.

Ingredients: Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), Sorbitan Monostearate (491), Vegetable Oil (soy), Ascorbic Acid (300).
Allergens: Contains Soy.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, store in refrigerator.
Shelf Life: Up to 12 months when stored as above.
