Pacific Harvest's Agar Powder is odourless and flavourless powder made from red algae, also known as agar-agar. It can be used in a wide variety of recipes without impacting the flavour.
Agar is very nutrient rich and is most commonly used as a vegan alternative to gelatine, but it's an extremely versatile ingredient in the kitchen, particularly for those following plant based, raw food or egg free diets.
For a hard set add 1 teaspoon per cup of liquid. Heat to 90 degrees centigrade and stir until disolved (don't boil excessively). Agar will expand upon rehydrating and set at room temperature.

Allergens: May contain traces of Crustacean, Fish, Molluscs.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Seal securely once opened.
