Cannellini beans (or White Kidney Beans) are a traditional Italian bean with a slightly nutty, mild flavour and fluffy, creamy texture. It is a nutrient rich bean, high in dietary fibre and protein, they are also a good source of folate, copper and iron. Holding their shape well once cooked, they are a popular addition to stews, casseroles, soups and salads.
