Alubia Beans (Cannellini Beans)

Alubia beans is the Spanish word for what we know as Cannellini beans or White Kidney Beans. A slightly nutty, mild flavoured bean with a fluffy, creamy texture. It is a nutrient rich bean, high in dietary fibre and protein, they are also a good source of folate, copper and iron. Holding their shape well once cooked, they are a popular addition to stews, casseroles, soups and salads.
