Savoury Almond & Parmesan Crackers

Crisp, golden, and full of flavour. These keto-friendly crackers are made with almond meal,
parmesan, and herbs for the perfect wholesome snack or dip companion.

Ingredients
 • 1 cup almond meal
 • ½ cup parmesan flakes (chopped finely)
 • 1 egg (binds the dough)
 • ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian herbs
 • ¼ tsp salt (reduce if cheese is salty)
 • Optional: ½ tsp garlic powder or onion powder

 Method
 1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
 2. Mix almond meal, parmesan, herbs, salt, and optional spices in a bowl.
 3. Add the egg and mix until a soft dough forms. If sticky, chill for 10–15 minutes.
 4. Place dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll thin (about 2–3 mm).
 5. Remove the top sheet, cut into squares or diamonds with a knife or pizza cutter.
 6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges turn golden. Cool fully before breaking apart.


Storage
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days at room temperature. Reheat in the oven for 3 minutes before serving to refresh the crispness.


Flavour Variations
Rosemary Sea Salt Crackers – Replace oregano with 1 tsp finely chopped rosemary and
sprinkle coarse sea salt before baking.
Spicy Paprika Crackers – Add ½ tsp smoked paprika and ¼ tsp cayenne pepper for a kick.
Cheddar Herb Crackers – Swap parmesan for grated cheddar and add 1 tsp mixed Italian
herbs.
Garlic Butter Crackers – Brush baked crackers with melted butter mixed with ½ tsp garlic
powder, then bake for 2–3 more minutes.
Seed-Crusted Crackers – Press sesame, chia, or nigella seeds on top before baking for extra crunch.
